2004
A few guys, a crazy idea, a garage, and an oven. The Dresden Handbrot was born and immediately became a hit at Christmas markets and city festivals.

2007
Between beats, bare feet, and gut feelings, the hand-held bread makes its debut at the first festivals. The aroma wafting from the oven fills every main stage.

The lines in front of our food trucks are getting longer than those in front of the main stage. Handbrotzeit is founded in Leipzig. Bread becomes a brand.

Handbrot every day? You bet. We’re opening our store in downtown Leipzig. For seven years, it was the hottest spot in town.

2014
Cheese and ham, veggie, or crazy specials. All of Germany wants our Handbrot. The dough revolution is sweeping from east to west.

Wacken, Fusion, Splash. No matter where, no matter when. Handbrotzeit is becoming a festival staple. No lineup is complete without us.

A summer without festivals, but full of ideas. We’re hitting pause, taking a deep breath, and rethinking everything from scratch.

A comeback after a two-year hiatus and a complete fresh start. Fresh dough, fresh perspective. We were so ready for the next round.
